ABSTRACT:
The work aimed at to develop an application computacional so that it was used as practical and exactness tool in the projection of systems of it presses down. The application accomplishes calculations continuous losses of load using the equations of Darcy-Weissbach, of Hazen-Williams, of Fair-Whipple-Hsiao, of Flamant and of Manning. The located loss of load is accomplished by the method of the equivalent length using the number of diameters. The software permits calculate the pressure height total and the economical analysis where it is determined the diameter of presses down economical and the monthly and yearly costs with energy. It grew up windows that allow the register of pump and electric motors models, so that they can used in the selection seeking to assist to the project points requested by the user. It was registered 102 models of pumps and 56 models of electric motors models. The selection of the pumps can happen through the curve of the system or through aproject point. The association can be made in series or in parallel, informing the curve of the system, the model and the number of bombs to be associated. The program also allows calculate available NPSH. The results obtained by the application were compared with found them in the literature. The differences were insignificant and in some cases they didn’t exist. This software can be used in systems of it presses down destined to the irrigation, to the water supply and in other types that seek the transport of fluids. It is recommended the register of new pumps and electric motors models existent in the area of performance, as well as the constant updating of the existent databases.
