ABSTRACT:
Due to great use of the tanks in the industries besides in the processing of agricultural products a computational system was developed using the Borland Delphi 4 â language, capable to calculate the geometry of vertical and horizontal tanks, besides the calculation of the area of change of heat of the cylindrical part of the tank. The dimensional of tanks is defined through the calculation of its dimensions and it is very important in the otimization of the use of foils decreasing the cost in the construction of the tank. The transfer of heat will be more efficient as larger the area of change of heat, the program aids like this to determine the geometry of the tank obtaining the largest area of change of heat.
