In the last years it has increased
the concern with sanitary questions and quality of the production in the
bovine meat productive chain, mainly in the productive path and in the
industry. Questions as traceability and property and production certification
have made with that cattlemen search different forms of flock’s
identification and registration. In this aspect the radiofrequency electronic
animals identification (RFID) has detached as soon as the technology advances
and the price starts to reduce. We can detach the use of this system in
the production data management, creating trustworthy and safe data with
agility, in the reduction of costs with man power, in the information’s
transmission between rural properties and/or industry. Some difficulties
still need to be transposed, as reading pitch and implantation costs.
Studies need to be made in this area, developing new applications for
